Welcome to Wanders Outdoors! An outdoors blog for all outdoor lovers! I’m Corey Franklin, and I created Wanders Outdoors in 2024 out of love of the outdoors.

As the blog grows and grows, there will be articles & information on anything outdoors related.

I created Wanders Outdoors to as a space to share personal adventures and experiences but also share others. Gear recommendations and hot locations and even hidden gems. From skiing, to hiking and kayaking, to travels and food outdoors and so much more.

My love of the outdoors probably began when I was a kid and used to play outside in the woods all the time. Building forts, or with sticks acting like I was some kind of explorer fending off monsters.. Haha. Since then, I’ve hiked, camped, and explored countless times, as well as kayaking, and recently started skiing this year for the first time since 6th grade.. 20+ years.
